Advisory Panel Meetings:Cultural Heritage Development Advisory PanelThe goal of having a Cultural Heritage Development Advisory Panel is to provide access to a wide range of expertise and services, and to help connect cultural heritage tourism efforts to other key state agencies, non-profits, existing heritage tourism programs, and local entities such as convention and visitor bureaus and historic sites. Our objective is to help prevent duplication of efforts and to maximize the impact of our projects and use of resources, and enhance the efforts of all of those working in the state on cultural heritage development. Through outreach, sharing information, networking, and helping structure thematic and geographic programs and linkages as well as providing technical assistance and facilitation when needed, the Advisory Panel can help coordinate the diverse efforts in this field and maximize the effectiveness for all participating groups.
