Greetings,

As an Americorps/VISTA volunteer, it is my duty to help my sponsor organization, Preservation Alliance of West Virginia, expand its potential. Americorps is a national public service network of thousands of non-profit organizations, and VISTA is the branch dedicated to promoting economic development. By incorporating more resources and broadening perspectives—both financially and socially—PAWV can pursue its goals more effectively. I’m asking you to help me assist Preservation Alliance as it works to promote the interests of our local and statewide communities.

Preservation Alliance of West Virginia is the only statewide grassroots organization supporting historic preservation in the Mountain State. Since its founding in 1981, the nonprofit PAWV has been working to preserve West Virginia's precious cultural resources for the benefit of future generations.

Preservation Alliance seeks your help in creating a secure future for West Virginia’s outstanding cultural and architectural resources. To better plan its efforts, Preservation Alliance is surveying preservation organizations throughout West Virginia. By completing the survey you will help us to utilize our resources to promote the shared goals of preservation organizations statewide.

Participation in this survey is, of course, entirely voluntary. However, we ask that you complete the survey as thoroughly as possible—the more we know about your organization the better we can work with you. Please answer all questions to the best of your ability. Please include any available pamphlets or other materials that might provide a better understanding of your organization.
