President's Notes - Starting my term as President of Preservation Alliance, I am excited to know there are active historical and preservation groups all around the state who are working to save what is special in their own communities. As the statewide grassroots organization dedicated to support of historic preservation, PAWV will be working to offer tools, support, communication, and public awareness that will help you do your job better. One of our new initiatives will be to offer up-to-date announcements by email of activities, issues, needs for support, workshops, news, and alerts. Send us your email address when you renew your membership, or send new e-mail addresses to info@pawv.org, and we will invite you to join our new announcement list beginning this winter. We invite you to join PAWV, as an individual or an organization, to help in this preservation effort. We are beginning a new calendar year membership policy with the special offer that memberships starting from October 2002 will count for the 2003 calendar year.
